My career in media intelligence didn’t start with technology or content aggregation. It began in the corridors of the Danish Parliament, where I served as Head of Campaigns. Back then, I was on the other side – relying on media intelligence tools to track narratives, understand public sentiment, and fine-tune communication strategies. Those early experiences gave me a deep appreciation for the power of media intelligence, though I never imagined I would one day be part of shaping the industry itself.

From User to Owner

Working in politics, I saw firsthand how media intelligence could make or break a campaign. The ability to cut through the noise and extract meaningful insights was invaluable. But I also encountered limitations—gaps in coverage, inefficiencies in content aggregation, and the challenge of accessing the right insights at the right time. Those frustrations planted a seed.

That seed grew when I left politics to help build a media intelligence company with my partners. Our goal was to close those gaps, ensuring that businesses, governments, and institutions had access to the highest-quality media insights. We scaled, refined our offering, and eventually sold the company—but our journey in media intelligence was far from over.

After selling our media intelligence company, we knew we weren’t done innovating. Years of experience in content aggregation had taught us two things: first, we were really good at it, and second, the existing solutions on the market weren’t meeting the industry’s needs. Instead of looking for an external fix, we decided to build something better.

That realization led my two partners and me to found Media Track, with a clear mission: to provide the core content infrastructure that powers media intelligence. From day one, we were fortunate to work with an incredible team of experts in tech, IT, and operations who helped bring our vision to life. Their dedication, problem-solving skills, and expertise made all the difference.
